Nymphenburg PixelNymphenburg Palace and Park Tour

When Henriette Adelaide, wife of Prince Elector Ferdinand Maria of Bavaria, finally gave birth to the long-awaited heir to the throne in 1633, her husband presented her with a large plot outside the Munich city gates. This is where Nymphenburg Palace was built, summer residence of the Wittelsbach family and birth place of the fairy tale King Ludwig II.
Opt for a guided tour of the palace, a walk of the park to the baroque pleasure palaces Amalienburg, Badenburg, Pagodenburg and Magdalenenklause and/or for a guided tour of the Marstall and Porcelain museums.
